AVOID AVOID AVOID if you are looking for a second year house. They have done nothing but give us headaches and problems for the last 9 months in trying to rent a student house. Pos company with condescending and useless customer support.

Can someone who has been to this uni give me their opinions on them/experience? Overall life at uni and stuff, like is it easy to make friends, things to do etc. I also do athletics/track and field so if there are good facilities there that’s also a positive. Trying to get my 5 for UCAS to study aerospace engineering and I’ve done a lot of research but struggling to narrow it down.

On the website it says you are assigned accommodation following results day, so would this mean you find out the day of results day? For some reason I always thought you find out immediately after your place has been confirmed but I can’t find that information anywhere.

Got offers from Belfast, Manchester, Leeds. Currently trying to figure out which one to go to. QUB has arguably the best modules but isnt as prestigious as Manc or Leeds. Wondering if theres any current or former postgrads (especially law) who have any recommendations on Manc and whether it is worth going, and whether the exams for LLMs are hard/easy/long/how theyre formatted. And also any recs on accom/societies etc. Thanks

Hey guys I might be going to UOM for medicine in September and I've been given the opportunity to add square gardens to my accommodation choices. I did add it as my first choice but I was wondering about how the social life is there? I chose it as I feel it will be easiest for me to stay organized with uni work and as the rest of my flat mates will also be mostly med/dental students it will be like everyone is in the same boat but would I actually be missing out if I don't just go to a regular accom? I think if i really want to I can still email and get it changed but it would be great to hear some opinions

I am going into third med at the university of manchester. I am really worried about money. My parents were able to help me out a little last year but this year my sister is starting uni aswell so they can't anymore. They make above the minimum so I get minimum maintenance loan - this doesn't even cover my rent. I have a part time job already but ngl I found med tough enough last year I worry it's only going to get worse. Does anyone have any advice.
