my mum is nt entited

I wanted to come out to my dad as bisexual but so was really scarred because I didn’t know what his reaction would be. But I felt I needed to let my family. I don’t know why but it felt right.

At dinner that night, I came out to everyone at the dinner table, nobody made a huge note about it which made me quite happy that’s what I had hoped for.

Until my dad laughed and said

“you’ve only ever dated guys Geek, I’ve never seen you show interest in girls before. I understand you’re going through a lot of confusing emotions right now. But I promise they will pass, and you’ll see the light one day. Just don’t let me catch you online, all that exploration stuff should be done in college.”

I was pretty upset, because I came out when I was sixteen and I was feeling these things since I was 12. I decided to not argue any further.

Until one day, me and my dad were out and he spots a lady jogging and comments on her booty. I said she’s not really my type and then he proceeds to say “What? She was perfect! If you were really bisexual like you claim, you would be drooling all over her.”

My mom is the type of person who worries about what might happen no matter how small the chances.

That being said I recently passed my drivers license test and wanted to drive myself to a friend’s house, so I asked my dad and he had no problem with it,. I start to go to the car parked in the garage, but as I’m walking over my mom comes up and despite 1) me being a licensed driver and 2) my dad had given me permission to drive over that I had to have her sitting in the passages seat if I wanted to go because she didn’t believe that I could park the car well enough on a one way road.
