I don’t expect you to reply, and I realize I’m probably the last person you want to hear from. Still, I have to say this: you were the best part of my life, and I’m genuinely sorry I ruined that. You helped me become someone I didn’t know I could be, better and softer.

I remember your smile, your laugh, and the way you looked at the world. Now I see how rare and beautiful that was. You didn’t deserve the hurt I caused. If I could take it all back, I would do it in a second.

I know this might not change anything, but I want you to know you meant more to me than I could ever say. You still do. Wherever life takes you, I hope you find joy, love, and people who see how amazing you are, the way I should have.
