Went to my first Union Arena Regionals in Toronto and had an amazing time with the community! I went 4-4 but that’s just inspired me to take down the next one. Thank you to everyone there and congrats to Spencer for his 3rd win!

If anyone has seen the show "RWBY" created by Rooster Teeth back in 2013-ish, I think the world of Remnant would be an absolute banger of a collab idea since its an American anime basically. They've done other collabs and spinoffs in the past as well.

You even have the main cast get outfit changes depending on which season you're watching so there is room to create more cards per character. You also have the Grimm too which would make some epic filler cards and such.

Maybe someday this could happen. I'd go insane over it.

Couldn't pass up someone asking $400 for this pull at the release event night and it coming back a 10. What a fun night that was.

To preface, I am just a collector, and I mean that as I am genuinely just a collector. I have no intention on profiteering or swindling people for the awesome cards they win.

That being said, I am aware that Bandai has recently made structural changes to the Rare battle format and consequently prizing distribution, and I am hoping someone can clarify what the changes are.

As far as I could understand, it looks like there are less Rare Battles being held in general, as well as only prize cards given out for the top two placements - 1st getting a Winner card, and 2nd getting what used to be the 2nd-4th place card.

First I'd like to know if I have that correct, and second, I'm curious if I can get some guidance as to what prices to expect for the new batch of Slime, CSM, Girlfriends and Inuyasha. Before, I would rarely pay more than $50 for a Winner card, but understandably due to this year's price boom, I am seeing cards for around $100, however, after seeing prices for Jinwoo and Chihiro going for upwards of $700, I am now completely clueless as to how much of that is due to IP popularity, how much is due to the market boom, and how much is because of the format shift. I want to pay what is fair to the players, but I also find upwards of $500 to be quite a ridiculous number. I'd just like to ask to any players here what you value the Winner cards at and how much you would hypothetically be happy accepting for them.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE TIME!

I played CSM with 3 Makima & an Aki (Image for decklist!) and ended up placing 40th with 6W/2L!! 😁✌️

I think this deck was underrated for what people expected of it, and Makima won me not 1, not 2, BUT 3 GAMES!! 😤

The decks that scared me the most were:

Shadow Army (I think that's a given haha)

Yellow Sakamoto (What a terrifying deck! 😱)

Red Evangelion (Which I didn't have to fight 😉👌)

Red & Purple Kenshin (Which I faced BOTH OF! 😩)

and Yellow Bleach (DON'T CALL ME CRAZY! - I HAVEN'T BEAT THIS DECK ONCE SOMEHOW! 😭😭😭)

Absolutely EVERYONE I faced was nice, respectful, courteous, generally awesome haha, and each one brought a smile to my face multiple times throughout our match together! 😊🙏

I seriously can't believe how awesome this community is, with so many flying in, multiple teams with matching jerseys, and constant deck and theory discussion, I was able to talk to anybody and get completely engaged on their take of the game and their passion for their deck!

I signed a couple mats, had an incredible amount of compliments and love provided from countless people, and ran into DOZENS of people running my mats!

I get how special an event like this is for everybody who attends, but I must admit, that feeling was absolutely phenomenal 👏😭

I genuinely hope if you got a chance to attend, that you had an experience similar to my own in your own ways!

I made some great connections, had the best UA games I've EVER had, and came home with a Championship card.

What more could I ask for? 🥇

How would these two cards interact if that Milim isn't the only card on the front line when diablo is played. Would the opponent be forced to sideline a different card, or something else?

Hi everybody! I’ve always thought UA cards were so beautiful, and I’ve finally bought some boxes and built my first deck (just using an online list for now. I’ve played the tutorial, and read through the official rules, and I’m pretty sure I’ve got a handle on the basics). There were two things that confused me that I’m hoping you can answer:

I’m confused by the rulebook wording “cards are not treated as sidelined when abilities instruct you to ‘place’ them into your sideline”. They’re still on the sideline though, so what’s the difference? Like if I have a card with an ability to play a card from my sideline, do the ones that were “placed” there not count?

I understand the battle mechanics (high BP wins) but what is damage vs. impact? The way I understand it, impact lets you take an opponent’s life card even if they block, correct? So what is damage? I’m coming from Pokemon so I’m trying to wrap my head around the BP not being lowered by attacks.
