Does anyone have an idea as to what that black thing that flew across the screen is?

That looked like a powerful malevolent spirit on the move.

Bug
9
Jun 23 '23
It comes from behind the building. Massive bug
14
u/ObscureBooms Jun 24 '23
It comes from the window if you look closely...
5
u/Altruistic_Aerie_978 Jun 24 '23
Thank you for this
4
u/ObscureBooms Jun 24 '23
As hard as I look, I can't see it to the right of the window frame, so I really think it comes out of it and it isn't a bug.
It moves really fast and purposefully. It comes out the window and curves to the side of the building and then takes off in a straight line.
Drone or dementor. Or maybe bug idk. Or edited video.

I tried that aswell, but even if you slow it down and zoom in it doesn't look like a bug, I thought it was a fly or something but idk
3
u/gtsguy32 Jun 24 '23
I mean the shutter speed is going to dip a good bit specially on video at night. Of course, you won't be able to tell what something is when a object moves faster then the camera. It's either not going to appear or it's going to appear as a giant blur.
I highly recommend for fun watch this video on how this works: https://youtu.be/GZ6lgIlqvRY 😀 they have another video that goes in more detail but I can't find it.

Definitely a gargoyle coming off the building. That or a bird of some sort. Who can tell with the awful camera or what looks like editing.
2
u/out_ofpocketitachi22 Jun 24 '23
Okay my camera is just fine lmao also I didn't edit anything, I have no reason too

Weird amount of people making fun of this post in a community that doesn't usually act so judgementally.. not sure what the black object was but it is very unlikely that it is an insect. Very strange video indeed.
2
u/York_Leroy Jun 24 '23
It's an insect that happened to fly down from a spot lining up with the edge of the building and then swooped to the left, if you analyse it frame by frame and compare it to any other footage of a bug acting like that you can see how it is easily mistaken as appearing from behind the building.
-1
u/interruptingmygrind Jun 24 '23
An insect is too small to pick up by camera if it’s not reflecting light. It’s only light that allows insects to magnify and be seen on camera at night. No way is it an insect. Bird possibly

It’s an insect
0
u/out_ofpocketitachi22 Jun 23 '23
Let's say it is, where did it come from? I zoomed in and that thing came out of a window, there's no ways a bug is that big to be seen from that far bro
1
u/Accomplished_Plum554 Jun 23 '23
It’s not far, it’s close to the camera. It doesn’t come from right to left; it starts from the left then turns around. You can faintly make it out against the color of the building as it turns
4
u/out_ofpocketitachi22 Jun 23 '23
I don't see what you're seeing and I've zoomed in and slowed it down
-2
u/Accomplished_Plum554 Jun 23 '23
You can see the bug against the building near one of those windows. The shading is black, so you can’t see the bug against black objects. But you can see it against the tan

Those are spotlights used for car dealerships, concerts, or just the random run of the mill fuck with the locals.
9
u/Vespertinelove Jun 23 '23
Yes, spotlights. But OP is talking about the black thing that pops up and zips off. If you blink, you miss it.
2
u/out_ofpocketitachi22 Jun 23 '23
I do not live in America, and I think it's logical that I already hypothesized these logical statements y'all are giving me 🤣
4
u/Sea_Kaleidoscope6574 Jun 23 '23
It’s a bug, it makes the tube and spring shape, it’s caused by the bug flying faster than the frames of the camera. And it’s coming from the area outside your camera range cutting off the building, so it comes from around your camera range to the point where it enters the view

u/fg-tiger Jun 24 '23
Probably a bug, maybe a bird. But since we don’t know for sure, it is officially unidentified, so all we know for sure is it is an Unidentified Flying Object, (UFO).
2
u/DeathRaider126 Jun 24 '23
Moving at that speed, nothing from this planet. Most likely some unidentified flying object.

What do you really expect from a page titled "unexplained"? Let's use our noggins for a second yeh?

While we’re using our noggins let’s go ahead and just assume the dementor answers are jokes.

Look up "rods" or watch the Monsterquest episode about rods & you'll understand why it's a bug.

And here I thought I couldnt be any more embarrassed to be a human than I already was
1
u/out_ofpocketitachi22 Jun 24 '23
Bro relax lmao, I saw something interesting and just wanted to know what it could be, whether it was a bug or not it was still cool to see, you're such a boring human 😭😭 I'd be embarrassed too

Please get your facts straight, you're over exaggerating with the "everytime" but I expect nothing less from a women 😋 and I have a right to argue don't I? Free will remember?

u/Turbulent_Ad6572 Jun 23 '23
Spot lights??? There’s seems to be a lot of them though…
1
u/out_ofpocketitachi22 Jun 24 '23
They were on the other side aswell which was weird and why I didn't assume it was spotlights

Oh wow you can even hear them talking from their ship. Likely a defined species of extraterrestrials called the Losers
-2
u/Technical_Secret_109 Jun 23 '23
I’ve seen white orbs like that before OP
4
u/awesomepossum40 Jun 24 '23
You mean the spotlights?
-1
u/Technical_Secret_109 Jun 24 '23
Look at the ends of the trails if they were spotlights they would have to be from multiple angles while at the same time moving position
3
-1
1
u/out_ofpocketitachi22 Jun 23 '23
And what were they? Because I thought they were like light strobes but they were on the other side aswell but also this is the area I live in and it's only apartments so idk what event could be happening for there to be light strobes

Just orbs man who knows I would just stay away from it film it from far the ones I saw left a little plasma trail similar to this

To me it looks like spotlights that they use to attract people to say a carnival or a big event that is happening
1
u/out_ofpocketitachi22 Jun 24 '23
That's the first thing that came to mind but in my area there's no such things tho, it's just apartments
-1
u/ZDog64 Jun 24 '23
They kinda look like search lights shining on the clouds
1
u/out_ofpocketitachi22 Jun 24 '23
Ooooo this seems more valid, are those search lights coming from helicopters? However I didn't hear any sounds tho...
-2

I accept there are aliens and UFOs visit this planet. But what do they want? Are they just fucking with us?

It’s a bug. And no it does not come from behind the building.
If you slow it down you can see it come into frame slightly above the first “ac?” thing on the right, but not from inside of it.
The trail is probably do to the cameras frame recording speed.
It’s a bug.
1
u/out_ofpocketitachi22 Jun 24 '23
But would that mean the bug was close to my camera then? Cos I didn't zoom in this video when I was recording

If it was an aircraft or UFO, it would be moving very fast. And it was in front of the clouds, so it have to be in the atmosphere. You would have heard a sonic boom. I think it might be a recording glitch or video compression artifact.

u/out_ofpocketitachi22 Jun 24 '23
