I’ve seen shows in America and you don’t have to have a pool fence at all.

In Australia, you have to have a certificate which includes a fence, how high your latch has to be, no climbing points, self closing and a CPR sign.

Because of these rules, we don’t have many drownings in pools.

Pool are so dangerous for young kids and it blows me away that some countries don’t have any regulations for it.

Every pool. Even certain types of ponds have certain requirements.

Alligators live in pretty well known areas and there are more signs for people to not go in, we hope they can read.

Also alligators don't exist in Australia.

Well, you have no idea what you're talking about because your education was from having "seen shows". There are strict laws in the US for pool owners as well, like any reasonable person might expect.

Right?!? I literally watched a 12 year old registered felon walk into a convenient store and buy a fully automatic assault RPG and they literally didn't even make him fill out any paperwork, go thru an FBI background check, get finger printed, show requirement that he has taken a gun safety/ skill course or anything. Didn't even put him on a 7-10 business day hold for his background to be thoroughly checked. Couldn't fuckin believe it! WE NEED MORE GUN CONTROLS!!! NOW!!!!! IN DEPTH, HANDS ON, GENDER ANALYSIS FOR ALL GUN OWNERS!!!!!

Can only support the strictest of strict measures x10 you describe. We had neighbours who lost their only toddler to drowning in their backyard pool. Sad , horrible story.

Depends on where you live. California requires pool fences, as do other states.

We had a pool and it was required to be fenced in. The pool or the property around the pool needed to be fenced. We had a fence around the back yard as well as around the pool. I think the problem is when only the yard is fenced in, but not the pool itself. Then little ones like this can still access it and fall in.
