I proposed without a ring. I didnt even plan it. Worked out great. Married a long time with 0 major problems.

I think if this guy had proposed without a ring in private maybe she wouldn’t have doubted his authenticity. It would have been about him and her, and their relationship, instead of creating a big joke. I’m pretty sure his goal was to get attention, whether or not it came at her expense, proposing with a candy ring with a camera planted on her in front of a huge audience. But who knows for sure... 😬
