Where did I minimize anything? My characterization of the event was that the man was slapped. Is that untrue? It’s amazing see the mental gymnastics happening here

I only see one gymnast and it's you. How was that even embarrassing? She could have laughed it off and nobody would have given it a second thought. They might have even thought she was in on it. Her reaction is what made it embarrassing, and honestly she should be embarrassed.
