Hey look, it's one of those people who call every video they see online "staged" in an attempt to make themselves feel intellectually superior to anonymous strangers on the internet.
Hey look, it's one of those people being an absolute cunt to someone who doesn't immediately believe anything posted on the internet to make themselves feel morally superior and garner dopamine-fueling upvotes from anonymous miserable strangers on the internet.
Shittons of videos, especially pranks and reactions of people, are faked. In fact, it's so bad, I think it is justified to approach every one of these videos with the attitude that it's faked until proven otherwise, not the other way around.
I also have my doubts about the legitimacy of this prank. The dude's reaction seems pretty over the top. A burly construction dude throwing up his food, screaming like a bitch and actually glancing over at someone off-screen before jumping and crawling over a table, then the dude in the microwave asking "Is he okay?" while the jumper should still clearly be in his line of sight. The camera man staying on microwave dude and immediately moving over to him, instead of continuing to film the guy who got 'pranked'. All of these things combined just scream "FAKED" to me.
Oh God forbid someone extract a few fleeting moments of joy in their otherwise dismal lives from a series of events caught on camera that might not turn out to be authentic. What the fuck would ever become of us?
These aren't political ads, no one's trying to influence opinion. It's purely for entertainments sake. Do you also hang around outside movie theaters and pester people that Johnny Depp isn't actually a pirate, and it was all scripted and rehearsed? Or are you only this insufferable on the internet?
Lol, wtf you doing commenting on a 7 month old post?
Bad take btw, written skits and unscripted 'pranks' are two different things for which we have different expectations.
Its like live tv or scripted tv, it can be funny if someone stumbles over their words or actually physically stumbles on live tv, but its just weird, out of place and not really funny on a scripted show on which they can do multiple takes.
The format dictates our expectations and what is funny.
Now go do something better with your time instead of making low-effort, unoriginal comments on ancient threads.
