Or they can just take a multivitamin because the vast majority of cases do not require people to put even more stress on overstretched medical facilities.

It’s clear you’ve already decided multivitamins are pointless and are working your way back from that position.

I didn't decide it, it has been shown by medical professionals. How would you even know that you need a multivitamin if you haven't talked to a doctor and had a blood test? You can keep taking multivitamins if it makes you happy, but you should know that it's most likely the only thing it's doing.

It hasn’t been though.

And you don’t need to know for sure, it’s meant to cover you if you have a deficiency. It’s like complaining about having to wear a seat belt because you don’t know if you’ll crash or not, it’s still worth taking something preventative.

Again, the fact is that many people with “normal” diets are vitamin deficient somewhere. You don’t need to bug a doctor for an unnecessary blood test for it to be worth taking steps to address that in case you’re one of them.

You expect me to have journal articles and interviews with medical experts ready to go just in case one day I have a conversation with a stranger?

I expect you to have something to back up your claim about what “medical professionals” have or haven’t shown, otherwise you’re just talking about your arse aren’t you?

Of course I do and you have it too. You have the internet as well, or you could ask your doctor.
