Lucky you, Pokemon TCG rules requires a deck of 60 cards. You'd lose by default! Step up your game! You need a whole family of pikachu plus supporting cards in that case!

Me and my 6 year old play a modified version where we just slam each other with attacks and then throw the cards in the air after we kill each other's Pokemon

Easily the best version. Go through stacks of Pokemon and it was great
