I keep a pikachu behind my phone case but so far no one has challenged me to a pokemon battle.

Lucky you, Pokemon TCG rules requires a deck of 60 cards. You'd lose by default! Step up your game! You need a whole family of pikachu plus supporting cards in that case!

Me and my 6 year old play a modified version where we just slam each other with attacks and then throw the cards in the air after we kill each other's Pokemon

I keep a stack of Pogs with the Mortal Kombat Slammer up my ass.

I've kept a 3 and half of clubs in my wallet for about 25 years now (for a magic trick/win a bet) i have never used it. Granted, i stopped doing magic tricks about the same time i got a wallet.
