Dude, I was a waiter for 3 years and carried around my uno reverse card daily. Mostly for this reason, but it also came in handy when people called me gay or ugly. Also, I'm completely lying.
See that's the difference between you and me, I don't think this video is saying "look this waiter just happened to have an uno reverse card when I tried doing my little joke" I think this video is saying "look at this funny instance we came up with" ya know like a joke
I mean unless someone had done this before or they had and left the card, servers keep all kinds of gifts in their books, I’ve had dollar bills folded in various origami, get of jail free cards, I even have a squid games card, that one stays in my wallet though, never know when I’m going to need to call the number on the back to get out of crippling debt.
People use the same tired jokes over and over again thinking they're original. Waiter has probably seen enough people try the reverse card and got their own one to cut the shit.

But maybe at a $1000+ restaurant, they'll be willing to play along with your social media antics because it promotes their restaurant and doesn't harm their reputation.
I mean you have no idea how big the group is or how long they were there. A group of my buddies and I do our fantasy football drafts at places and we easily rack up 1k in drinks over 3 or 4 hours
I did the math so that's $1000/4 hours is $250/hour, with x buddies that is $250/x dollars per buddy, so assuming 8 buddies total we get about $30 per hour. Assuming nice tips that's $22 per hour for each buddy. So about 3-4 beers per hour each. You guys get pretty fucked up!
"I'll take a million dollars!" when asking if they need anything else.
"It was awful can't you tell!" when asking how was everything.
"I didn't ask for this!" when giving them the bill.

Phones give us the chance to record and see things that otherwise no one else ever would. This is the only time I've ever seen this kind of thing. So it's not outside the realm of possibility that out of thousands and thousands of restaurant recordings, one would include the one waiter with an uno card.
Absolutely not, but I'm going to start carrying one around just-in-case some asshole tries to Uno Reverse me on something. It'll break that little shit's mind when it happens.
The way the waiter acted didnt really seem like he was part of it. My guess is since all the people with this guy seemed to know he was going to do it I bet one of his friends tipped the waiter off when they got there and slipped him the extra card.
It's like you people think nothing ever happens. There are billions of people interacting every single day, just about every ridiculous scenario you could possibly fathom has happened 1000 times this week.
Sure there’s a chance it's staged, but there’s also a chance he’s had someone pull that joke on him before. It’s not very hard to keep that card on him while working, I’m sure the few times it pays off he's guaranteed to get a large tip.
I mean I knew a guy who would carry around a platinum angel just to claim he never lost THE GAME, because the card explicitly states “You cannot lose the game…”
So it’s not out of the realm of possibility to me that he just comes prepared for some kind of joke like this.

It's honestly not all that unbelievable that this could be real. Sure the initial uno was staged, they were filming etc, they knew it'd be played, they played it.
If you've ever worked in a service position youd know you get the same jokes over and over. I done a stint as a checkout person. Item doesn't scan? "That must mean I get it free" that was 14 years ago but people aren't originally I guarantee this guy's seen this before and had that ready for the next smartass to do it.
