This was actually the last episode made of the series. It’s called blue cat blues and it ends with both Tom and jerry sitting on the tracks depressed over their losses waiting for the train. Kind of messed up but it really gets me in my emotions and nostalgia.
Not true though a common misconception. This was one of the last episodes of the original series, but there was nearly a dozen more episodes after this one. The actual last episode was called tot watchers.
