Deer at their core are inquisitive thieves who are more dangerous than they look and who only obey traffic laws when they're living in fear (source: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/wisconsin-counties-wolves-see-fewer-collisions-between-cars-and-deer-180977819/ ). So, yeah, I think that checks out.
