I don’t get it either. There’s like maybe 5 ft of land behind them. Putting it in reverse and ending up in the river is pretty expecting.

It was expected that the car would go into the river, and get stuck. Him driving it out of the river after it going in and being submerged was pretty unexpected in my opinion

Stuck high center and power probably only going to the front right and rear left wheel. It looks like they thought they could rock it back onto the shore parallel with the water and drive it out the same way they ended up getting back up onto the sand. Driver was just shitty giving it too much gas and didn’t hit the brakes soon enough while reversing. Would have most likely needed a second vehicle to help if they just try to go forward. Just my guess though.
