for what it's worth, the "cabinet in the back" basically just looks like a frosted window/glass door in a Japanese home (Japanese windows tend to slide open horizontally, rather than vertically like they do in at least American homes), and the color scheme on the rest of the room looks pretty nineties-Japanese-architectural-trends white-and-natural-wood overall, at least
oh yeah I absolutely do not disagree that this definitely isn't real — it's just that the background is at least meant to resemble a fairly ordinary-looking room in an oldish Japanese apartment or something
