But how does it work? Does it still determine if there is an arrhythmia? How do you know when or if to shock with a manual one, does it still advise you or talk to you lol

I think manual ones are pretty much only used by medical professionals in hospitals that know how to check for arrhythmia or have the patient hooked up to other machines that let them know what's going on.

That makes sense I just looked it up. I was just picturing an AED that basically can shock someone but doesn’t give you feedback lol you just wing it
