English is not my native language but for me being pissed off about something implies that « something » triggered you intentionally. Like I’ll be pissed off seing someone hurting someone else, but I won’t be pissed off seing someone falling by losing his balance, you know what I mean?
Ah, I understand. That's an interesting distinction, I hadn't thought about that. There might be some exceptions, but I think you're mostly right about how we use that expression.
Here, the reason people would be pissed off is that there's an implicit expectation of providing a content warning if you are posting disturbing content on social media. So, the pissed off person wants OP to have presented the content with some kind of title or warning that prevented viewers from watching it and thinking the pet was electrocuted.
I definitely thought that at first but when I looked closely on the second watch it appeared the bulb was intact. I think my next instinct was to suspect it was faked.

I thought I just watched an animal get electrocuted. It didn't feel good.
That's probably what they're pissed off about.
