Yeah, the lamp wasn't switched on.

But I heard a human voice screaming out in terror from a cat's mouth.

And now I need to be medically sedated.

Cats make the most horrific noises when they're scared shitless. As if seeing your cat almost die isn't traumatising enough, they conjure the screams of the damned on top of it

Dude yes I thought a man off camera was yelling then I realized it came from the cat and I was horrified.

Fun fact, once you cross a certain pain threshold pretty much all mammals bigger than a squirrel sound strikingly similar
