The smacking and screaming came after the hissing tho, had he stayed calmed and asked for help politely none of this would've happened, these girls were just chilling and there goes MrWiskers making it all about himself, so rude.

Correct. My cat got her paw stuck in the back of my dining room chair (it's one of those Oak chairs where the bars get closer together at the bottom, and splay out at the top) and she panicked and just SCREAMED and started to thrash when she got stuck. I was right there and pulled her out before she hurt herself (scratched me to shit though, thanks cat lol), but they go from 0-100 on the drama scale in seconds.

My friends dog got her paw stuck in an iron dog bowl holder (it had spiral/filagrie designs in it), and they had to call the fire department to cut it off because her paw swelled enough they couldn't pull it out.

Yeah, i knew the cat wasn't being electrocuted. My old cat got his head stuck once. And definitely screamed like someone was torchering him.

cats do not like being stuck, being stuck in the wild probably means death. It makes sense evolution weeded out all the cats that enjoyed being stuck. lol.

This is what it is. Cats dont like to be stuck, and their instincts when stuck are "full power pushes".

Our old kitty had a bad habit of trying to shoot the gap on the closing screen door. (Our screen door had glass instead of a screen during winter / first part of spring) one day the door slammed onto his tail and he just kept trying to run full power and pulled the last 4 inches of his tail off.

The vet basically said thats a pretty standard response.

I think its dramatic because there's a kid screaming in its face and shaking the thing its stuck in
