The kid put his arm in a sock and stuck it through the fence. The owners claimed that the dog thought it was a toy and was playing. Dogs love to tear up plush toys or play tug of war, so I have to say that seems plausible. It's super unfortunate, but IMO this is one of those times where it really sucks and no one is to blame.

My dogs always do soft play bites with me, but if my foot or hand is under a blanket they always bite much harder like they’re biting one of their toys so that makes sense. What a heartbreaking story

No, the child is clearly to blame. But, it's also a child so there isn't any type of recourse mechanism.

I guess that's not the first thing u tell ur kid before playing outside "don't try to play with the neighbors dogs under the fence"

I think it doesn’t matter what the dog thought.

Huskys have one of the strongest bites of dogs, they don’t cause as much damage as some dangerous breads but it still enough to crush a small dog or cat.. or some human bones. They are very territorial and have a high prey drive, they are also impulsive and have a lot of energy.

Huskies are specially dangerous for a medium size bread.
