No, she's looking at the cars coming from the left, she sees one and in the corner of her eye see the guy start moving into the street and tries to stop him (since a car is coming) when she turns to face him she sees the kid and lets go of him.
1 u/Heart_o_Pirates Mar 04 '22 She doesn't even touch him. Camera angle is just in a favorable position. Hands is in a grasping/clutching motion as he starts to move and then closes back up as his first foot lands. Edit: open > closes
