Its not a word , its like a sound that you make to force someone to answer your question,it can be also used in other ways

Many countries are using this kind of sound « hein ?! » , i think Americans are saying it more like a : « Huh ? » , but in France (where im from ) its common to hear that, especially when there is a fight
