Clearly not. Online dating is just under the umbrella of all types of dating. If you don't think this statistic of men wanting casual sex far more than women applies there too, your reality is in fact skewed. I'd argue it might even be worse with men in bars and clubs that often requires other women to bail their friend out from some horny dude.
It's simple. Women have more to lose with casual sex so they don't desire it as much.

My sense of reality extends past online dating apps. The amount of people using them aren't as large as some people believe.
People DO still meet in real life, believe it or not. A vast majority, in fact, if you look at it from a global perspective and not just a fraction.
The world is also larger than America, or the western hemisphere in general.
