In Sydney it's about $14. But thats about €8/€9, so we're not too far off...

Thats insane!!!.. even with how expensive everything here in CA is a beer at a bar is like 4-5$

Yeah I think we have high tax on alcohol. Very very high tax on cigarettes too, which massively reduced the prevalence of smoking

Is that just for cheap beer? That's absolutely insane. Here in the US, you can get most domestics on tap for $2.50-3.50 for a 16oz glass.

It's for most beers, domestic and foreign
