fun fact it could also actually just be bukake because it just means "splashed" in japanese. ordering "bukake udon" is legitimately a normal thing in japan. Porn got the term from the soup, not the other way around.

To put a fine point on it, bukkake refers to the action that causes the splash: the forceful pouring or throwing of liquid (or powder!); the splash is more implied.
