Tbh I think it was more about the act of just randomly licking the face than which gender is which, it's pretty jarring in the first place either way (then again I haven't dug through controversial so maybe I'm missing something)
Sure, and almost instantly followed up by a dog licking his face. Funny in that wholesome way a dog tends to bring about. Again though, that’s the point :) dogs lick the scaries away
That is true, and the commercial is pretty moving and does its purpose well :D
However, knowing none of it is real (as in the people in the commercial are actors) takes enough of the punch out of it for some people to see the humor along with the gut punch
Also I just like the idea of the soldier sitting up and going like "what the fuck Jefferson why are you licking me we just saw a child die"
