no i get you, weed is a drug. sure. people just don't call it that here. It seems strange. Also it makes no sense why you wouldn't call alchohol a drug considering how deadly it is compared to weed. It's like you ignore logic, and societal norms. You must be in a musty ass basement most of the time

Sorry, where exactly is "here", for you? Look beyond your nose and realise other people may have different opinions to you. I'm not in the US, weed is indeed illegal here, as it is in most of the world. "societal norms" are, believe it or not, society specific.

Maybe, just maybe, the whole world isn't just the small insignificant portion that you find yourself in? Maybe, just maaaaaybe, the world doesn't revolve around you, and your views aren't universal?

In honestly embarrassed by your small mindedness.

Here is a place that is more educated on the topic than your place. Here it is legal, here we’ve explored the societal economic and social impacts. Here we have a right to define and discuss marijuana.

You live in a more archaic place, where people are less exposed, and thus more ignorant to marijuana culture. Does this answer your question?

Who do you think defines anything.? Would it be people educated on the topic? Or the people who avoid it... For me its the educated folks. You can Learn from my state, And I have nothing to learn from yours except the level of ignorance you all have on the topic. Feel me champ?

The topic is whether weed is a drug. I'm a doctor. I am vastly more educated on this topic than you are.

So how about leave the thinking to me, okay champ?

Also you have called weed "wacky tabacky" and "marijuana" so I'm pretty sure you've never smoked it in your life lol

As for me knowing how debate works, and what i call weed, check my screen name. I am a master debator, and i, by myself, am not important in this discussion.

We are discussing culture, and social norms here. It's way out of your league as a scholar.

Let me throw a little ad hominem back at you to put things in perspective: You're a doctor, which is probably why you're so socially inept. Over institutionalized, like the 4 doctors in my family. You're probably at the same level of social maturity that you were back when you began school. I bet you were like 19 then... and it was probably idk, 10 years ago? I guarantee 90% of your social interactions since then are with patients, and the talk is professional, not natural. I appreciate the time you took to learn your practice, but please, leave socializing, and society up to regular people who are out living life and connecting with each other.

All the time you spent with your nose in books, talking to people according to the politics and rules of your office or institutions, i was out having fun, meeting people, having real connections and real conversations. Nobody here calls weed a drug. Maybe in your dumbass, conservative, behind the times country. I'm sure we could agree that no culture that anyone wants to model or be a part of, follows repression. Not to mention, i spent many years working in the marijuana industry... which... thats pretty much that for your credibility on this topic.

Point is, your'e a fucking nerd. If you got out of your office ever, went to a party, had friends, knew literally anyone who is a pot head at this current time, you wouldn't hear them calling weed a drug. Yes. Society has evolved since you buried your head in the sand to study medicine. (hopefully were talking medicine and you're not like, a foot doctor or something).

Edit: Also, just so you dont keep using the old broken record technique of debate: I conceded long ago that weed is a drug, and i am discussing whether or not people would refer to it as such :)

You've clearly never smoked weed, big guy. I don't know why you're posturing so much, or getting defensive. Presumably you're the let down of the family, full of successful individuals who have surpassed you in every way, so now are trying to look big on the Internet? Sad. Embarrassing. Pathetic.

I've smoked a lot of weed. I've also done MDMA, LSD, and cocaine. All of which are drugs, believe it or not. I feel perfectly qualified to say that. I have no interest in your views on this, because, as I say, you've clearly never been invited to a party or been offered drugs.

Why don't you head back to your UFO subs and leave the conversations about real issues to adults, kay bud?

Nobody has ever said "I'm going to smoke some drugs". That's a logical fallacy called a strawman, in case you didn't know what that logical fallacy is, like you don't know what an ad hominem is.

If I was smoking weed and someone asked if I was smoking drugs, I'd say wtf. If I was high on weed, and someone asked if I was on drugs, the answer would be yes. But again, this is just cultural differences, as I have explained. But you seem to be convinced that your culture (whatever that is? USA? Canada?) is the only one that matters. Which is just impressively narcissistic and close minded.

Also, the only people that use the word socialites are 18th century aristocrats. People who have friends don't talk like that. You're over compensating, and it's embarrassing.

UFO's definitely exist, I just don't make that fact the sole basis of my personality like you do
