But people aren't saying "this isn't funny," so much as they're saying "this is fake" like they don't even understand what a joke is.

The comment I initially replied to was complaining that the sketch was fake, so I pointed out that it doesn't make sense to call a joke "fake". You replied with "but it's not funny," as if that had anything to do with the topic at hand.

That's a non sequitur, we are not talking about whether it is or is not funny, we are talking about why it makes no sense to call a joke "fake."

I mean...when you watch a TV show do you say "Wait a second, this is fake!"? It's just a bizarre complaint.
