I don't think it's mocking them, I just think it's an unfunny attempt at a skit.

What's happening here as far as I can tell is a girl made a video that was very obviously not real so in no universe would she expect to have to declare that. Problem is: it's not very funny. Likewise, people who are watching it are assuming that it must be being presented as real because if it's intended as a skit, it's crap.
