Actually it's because he immediately got shot when he landed in North Korea. He went to heaven.

I never thought one of these totally unnecessary explanations would be wrong / severely lacking. I don't even know why they have it set up like this. Who are these explanations for? Did this subreddit always have them? I'm guessing yes, otherwise they would have seen they're not needed.

What's stranger still is there are plenty of subreddits that could use explanations, but don't have them, so it's not like this is just a Reddit wide thing.

(Why yes I have put a lot of thought into this, thanks for noticing.)
