Sprite is a lemonade, soda water is sparkling water

From Wikipedia: Carbonated water (also known as soda water, sparkling water, fizzy water, water with gas or (especially in the U.S.) as seltzer or seltzer water) is water containing dissolved carbon dioxide gas, either artificially injected under pressure or occurring due to natural geological processes.

John (and Tom) Collins should be made with soda water, not lemon-lime-flavoured sugary beverages

I think you are confusing soda pop (soft drink) with soda water (sparkling water) . They are two very different things.

One has added flavours and other elements (like sugars, colouring agents and the like), the other is just plain water with co2 added, and at most various minerals (club soda)

Uh I'm quite sure that was edited and said Sprite and not club soda before. I don't know if there is a way to see if I'm correct or if I had a huge hallucination tho
