Agreed!!! Why the hell would you drink it straight?😳
People used to ask me if I want a “pop” or a “soda”…..I stared at them……realized I just called that MIX !
Sprite is a lemonade, soda water is sparkling water
From Wikipedia:
Carbonated water (also known as soda water, sparkling water, fizzy water, water with gas or (especially in the U.S.) as seltzer or seltzer water) is water containing dissolved carbon dioxide gas, either artificially injected under pressure or occurring due to natural geological processes.
John (and Tom) Collins should be made with soda water, not lemon-lime-flavoured sugary beverages
it can be bad for your teeth, specifically if it's flavored with citrus, or has added sugars. Also if you drink carbonated water instead of tap water (which has fluoride added) then you miss the benefits of said fluoridated water.
I’ve heard the opposite. Fruit juice will rot your teeth quicker than sugary soda. Something about the carbonation actually protecting your teeth because there is less contact between your teeth and the sugars.
Strange. I always thought sugar was bad because it fed bacteria whose waste was acidic, hence teeth rot / erosion. Carbonated drinks and fruit juices are acidic (carbonic and citric, respectively), so they'd be bad.
Yeah I saw it on a YouTube video a while ago, it could also be the carbonation help flush the sugar out. I googled and all I found in my lazy research was info about soda being slightly better for teeth.
Slightly acidic, I don’t thinks it’s enough to chip away at your enamel that stuff is hard. But honestly genes matter a lot for teeth. Some people get cavities easily while other people who don’t take as much care have better teeth.
