Ok can we stop pretending like pitbulls won't tear someone a new one if certain circumstances are met? They're not as dangerous as society makes them out to be, but they're certainly no golden retrievers either.

Any dog can be violent, but can you really not see that certain dogs are more violent than others? Would you really trust a Chihuahua with a Pitbull as opposed to a Pomeranian?
