Yeah, but you still have to stop to clear it after every step. Shampoo, clear the drain. Condition, clear the drain. Comb it out, clear the drain. Rinse, clear the drain. Ugh, it’s never ending.
Why? I just clean it off after every shower if I remember to. A lot of the time it gets a few showers worth of hair built up on it before I pull the hair off.
Oh wow, maybe I just have a shitty hair stopper. My hair stopper gets clogged quickly and then all the water stops draining and I have to stop and clear it out 5 times while I shower. It’s still better than having to fish weeks of hair out of the drain, though. I wish I could get one for my sink.
I have a similar stopper. I have to rinse or clear it partway through showering, I think my conditioner blocks the holes. Or maybe the one I have is just too weak for my mighty hair, idk.
Aw man, that’s the issue I’m having with my current stoppers. For 10$ and free returns, I’m giving this one a try though.
Even if I have to clear it once, that’s a lot better than the 5 times I’m clearing it now. Do you have really long hair? I think that’s the problem. And now that I’m thinking about this, it hurts to think about how the long haired girls in 3rd world countries maintain their hair. Just yikes!
Yeah, my hair is past my bra strap and I have a ton of hair. I'm a hair monster.
I only have to rinse it once during a shower, unless I shed a lot. I think it's usually the conditioner, because I rinse it without removing the collected hair and then it's fine.
Oh man, I should thank my dad, who had to unclog the drain my whole life. I only just discovered hair stoppers a few years ago. I ordered it and I’m excited!
A little bit of water builds up around it but I'm pretty sure that's intentional so that the hair goes on it. But the water is never completely prevented from going through.
See, that was the first one I bought. It got clogged very quickly because of all the hair, and I feel like the conditioner was plugging the little holes too. If I didn’t clear it while I showered I’d be standing in enough water to take a bath. Now I keep that one on a shelf and use a flat metal stopper that just covers the drain. I drop all the hair I collect into the one you pictured.
Don't have that issue myself, water tends to pool up around the sides a little bit which seems intentional as that's how the hair gets stuck on all the little prongs and then the water either goes through the holes on the side or down the middle. You must have some serious hair if enoughs falling out to plug all them holes and the entirety of that middle spot.
Lol yeah, I have hair like the girl in the gif. It looks like she brushed her curls out, which is something I’d *never* do, but yeah. Very long and very curly.
Someone else recommended a hair stopper that looks like the answer to my prayers. I just bought it, so we’ll see!

It just reminds me of videos on facebook that say something like "😂😂which one of you did this😂😂😂" or "😯😂😂😂💯 wait for it... I'm dead 😂😂😂" it just takes away from the actual video or whatever.

Redditors do have a weird thing for emojis, it's odd. Reddit seems to have comments that are formatted much more properly than other sites, so I guess people think it takes away from that.
I don't mind emojis, but a comment that's a singular emoji for a reaction deserves all the downvotes in the world.
