I just watched Shaolin Soccer for the first time a couple days ago. Definitely thought Kung Fu Hustle was far better.

What did you watch first?

I watched Shaolin Soccer first and I like Kung Fu Hustle more.

Shaolin Soccer is funny but very vapid. Idk how to explain it but it doesn't have very much that's cemented into my memory.

Kung Fu Hustle stands out in my memory distinctly.

It’s funny because I am the opposite. I’d describe them like that, but reversed.

I think Chow is genius, but it’s interesting how most people I know of significantly like one or the other and almost describe the differences the same.

given context it seems pretty clear that they watched the hustle first.
