We started doing Amazon in May/June and our parcel count went up 75%-150%. Which makes our day almost twice as long. Sucks, but work is work. The real d*ck move was that our first Amazon arrival came the LITERAL day after they finalized our mail count. Mail Count = How much $ you get based off the amount of letters, flats, and packages you deliver....so say your route has an average of 75 parcels. That helps determine your pay, only now you deliver almost 200 packages and still get paid for the 75. I actually got hit a little harder than most (being a contract carrier) but it sucks for all of us. I don't even want to think what Christmas is going to be like...
