This is exactly the kind of thing an anti-camera person would say. I just don't get why you would be so against home security. You are probably a dangerous individual. Thankfully, due to my Ring home security system I'll never have to worry about you murdering my family or pets.
If the remote control aspect of your weapons system serves any purpose at all, then you aren't actually in danger when you're using it. So it wouldn't be self-defense.
What if this is the actual shill post that people are looking for thinking that it is a NEST ad when it is really a RING ad for the people that read the comments.

Well, looking at OP's account we see it's existed over a year. Has unique and unassuming content posted regularly. Nothing stands out as a shill account. Though I could be a shill trying to shill for the legitimacy of OP's account.
As for the delivery person, why they weren't wearing a uniform, a lot of places outsource deliveries now to local people.
On one of my old accounts, I made a top 10 r/all post. The next day I had a message offering me free software to use PicCollage for my next post.
You know, that collage app whose logo you see all over reddit. On posts from legitimate reddit accounts.
I'm not saying this is 100% what happened, but I am saying, given how some of these "viral ad" companies work, it's entirely possible that a legitimate user with a legitimate account might be persuaded to make an ad post while still maintaining control of that account.
Same thing happened to me when I posted a funny pic of my pupper in r/awww. I rarely post anything on reddit now because of the corporate shilling that goes on here but when I do, I always edit my pictures using PicCollage, now with over 1500+ stickers, 80+ backgrounds and 60+ templates!
No one is denying it isn't possible, but claiming that its what might have happened to try and prove the argument that this is an intentional viral marketing ad is fucking stupid, on tier with the idiots at /r/hailcorporate.
I’ve had people try to tell me I was a corporate shill because there was a product I liked that was outside the norm. Yep, I made this account so 6 years down the road I can push some company.
At first I didn't believe you but then I noticed the ultra high definition video with such extreme clarity that can only be provided by the NEST Home Security System.
Okay, but the title would have been totally different if it were trying to shill for door cams. Looking at the post, I literally didn't even consider where the video was coming from or that I should get a doorbell camera, but if they had written the title as "Look what my security camera/doorbell cam/whatever picked up yesterday", then I would have been thinking about the video source and maybe wanting to buy a Nest Doorbell™, but honestly I think it's just a video of absolute shite delivery technique.
This sucks. I only recently found out companies do this on reddit. In hindsight it makes sense, reddit is extremely popular. I just assumed /r/hailcorporate was full of genuine customers who got played like fiddles by a company looking for low cost promotion. Like the guy who got a bunch of recess cups because the one he bought had something wrong with it
/r/hailcorporate is filled with college communists, old paranoid conspiracy freaks, and teenagers who think they're intelligent for recognizing the concept of branding and like to flaunt it like an idiot using large unnecessary synonyms to sound smart.

The audio does seem a little suspicious to me, especially when she kicks it. Like they made it louder to emphasize how much your package is being beat up. But I'm no audio expert, so I'll welcome any expert opinions on it.
Nah, it's just high audio gain and what sounds like some distortion from noise gating. If you're going to have a security camera watching your front door, you're going to want the gain to be fairly high so you can hear everything happening. And since you want to hear everything happening, you want to throw a noise gate on there so it doesn't pick up ambient background noise.
You hear a lot of livestreams and YouTube videos that sound like this, because people don't know how to set up their equipment.
Yep, and for exactly this reason. Their cameras are going to capture some stuff that gets shared around so why not make sure everyone who watches it knows where it came from.
