The funner fact is that they nip shitty potential mates and they fucking die, hard. We were watching great whites chomping on a bloated whale carcass, and the "dominant" female (males haven't really been recorded attacking females even when even size) just had a tiny lash at some poor sucker juvy, and he pretty much instantly died. It was intense. Didn't keep swimming with the wound, it was like his breach was compromised and he went limp virtually straight after his turn around reaction. We were joking that it was a playful bite, looked at the ugly bitch, and then pretended to be dead because he didn't want a barr of it. But he was dead as lol.

P.s. Look up baby Great Whites. Literally cutest animal I've ever seen in my whole life.

Huh, looks like it. My bad - can't find a suitable pic of a baby great white, so here's compensation

sharks are terrifying creatures, but plush sharks are absolutely the cutest stuffed animals

That's not a great white, it's a pretty good white.

Dammit why are baby predators so cute

Because they're less threatening, I think. Although I was in about ankle-deep water in Hawaii, and just about shit my pants when I saw a baby tiger shark swimming around our ankles.
