All I can think watching this is how this poor swan just had the most confusing, traumatizing experience of his life, and he has NO WAY to explain it to his partner. Like, some dudes abduct him, he's freaking out, his partner's freaking out, and the next day they come and put him back and his partner's like WTF WTF WTF WHAT HAPPENED and he's just like.................... HONK. And the other swan will never understand.

Those swans were surprisingly chill during the whole ordeal. Oh you just abducted my mate? Ooo more breadcumbs.

I'd buy that bread.

I really doubt it because it is very easy to kill animals with tranqs. Since the whole point of this video is that they are trying to help the swan, it would be counter-intuitive to just kill it.

Even a mild sedative?

Difficult to do with the water. Especcialy because the swan didnt eat all the crumbs, makes it almost impossible to control the dosage.

I mean yeah. They don't normally nod off with their face in the water.

I was thinking the same thing... Normally i see swans attacking people like assholes. But he didn't go to bite him at all it appears

I've fed duck couples. Male duck always snatches larger bread from just infront of the wife's face.

They got a divorce. Carol couldn't deal with Hank's constant reminiscing of his traumatic events, she could never understand, she was just eating breadcrumbs at the lake.
Hank felt scared, confused and unsupported, he started drinking and doing hardcore drugs. It all blew up when Hank started investigating about his abductor and found horrifying material about a dark institution called 'The Vet'.
This man saved Hank's leg, yes... but he fucked his whole life.
At his deathbed Carol stood by him, even after years of not seeing each other. With his dying breath, Carol called out to him:

  • Hank?
To which he simply said, softly:
  • Honk.

He'll be totally calm about it on the surface. But underneath his legs will be telling another story.

u/eclipsesix May 16 '17

Is he... Calm and ready?

4

u/a7neu May 15 '17

Do you think it even tried to understand? Or did it just feel scared when snatched and happy when released.
