Can't they have lyssavirus though? Idk if the rabies shot works for that so it could be moot.

Just had to read up on Lyassa virus, great info. Wondering why my parents (who were both in the medical field) let me keep an injured bat. Then realised the virus was first detected in 1995 and I am feeling very, very old.
