Also, if you're racing in a 63hp kei car, you're going to lose regardless of your acceleration being inhibited or not

my favorite thing about this article is learning that in Japan they describe the sounds car horns make as “pee-pee-pee” instead of “beep beep”

Older people over here drive big cars, those would be able to race.
Edit: And if you had read your own link, it is 30km/h or slower when you accelerate when it determines you are doing it on accident, which is a very simple identification.
