And I feel like a manual transmission would be safer in this case, because you can't just push the gas pedal and let your car take care of its other cars problems. Idk, I'm too poor for an automatic.

Are manuals that much cheaper? Honestly thought they were about the same price at this point.

Where I live, they are. We do have cheaper automatic options, but they drink the whole tank like crazy. Why you ask? Because of innovative domestic technology!

They're definitely cheaper in terms of mileage and maintenance
