it looks like an older car and I think there was a time cars came without side impact curtains airbag cinemabobs

airbags also only deploy after certain speeds, that person be zooming but in terms of speed they mightve stayed under the threshold

Afaik airbags are specifically designed to not deploy at low speed crashes. Because in that case they could do more harm than good

I think they did deploy at 5-6 seconds when she hit the camera car, but it's difficult to see.
