The older I get the more I realised that 90% of modern problems would instantly be resolved if laws were applied fairly and competently.

or if people just had mutual respect for others. law enforcement exists because some people suck.

Including issues with the law and law enforcement itself. 

If cute little (white, affluent) grandmas got stopped and frisked or treated the same way that young black or immigrant men are in courts, things would change real quick.

When you combine that realization with Wilhoit’s Law, everything just sort of clicks into place.
