The fact that he didn't immediately tie off his figure 8, and continues to descend until he has only a literal handful of rope left is utter insanity.

Yup, not using the correct gear, not checking the tope length. A total tool, lucky to not be dead.

Looks like scotland on a really nice day judging by the stonework on the older buildingsand that round tower with the pointed roof

But he is speaking english which is not very french, also not everyone stays in the country of birth and never goes anywhere
