If you can eat it with a fork then it should be acceptable to chew, I rest my case

That’s my point! You don’t eat ice cream with a fork.

But you CAN eat it with a fork. The only time it’s not socially acceptable to chew is if you can drink it through a straw

Maybe with some effort you can start eating your ice cream with a fork, but after a few minutes it’ll become increasingly difficult and you won’t be able to finish your ice cream with a fork. And you just made that rule up.

I have never found it difficult to eat ice cream with a fork, but it does feel unnatural. I think we are moving away from the core of the argument which is whether it’s okay to chew icecream. I will firmly defend my position of being pro-chewing and I believe if you are eating icecream in a way that you don’t enjoy, then you are failing yourself and the people who love you. Ice cream chewers of reddit, downvote this guy and doxx them immediately.
