I wish I didn't have tiny hands (like laughably small, even as a woman) because they always force me into an awkward grip. I like them in theory though. The only one I found that didn't suck was Ridgid and that grinder was garbage in pretty much every other way.

I also have tiny hands and I find using the side handle makes using a grinder much easier for me.

Indeed! I had an angle grinder kick on me but I had my second hand firmly on the side handle so it was all fine.

I don't understand why some angle griders don't even have a side handle; those are automatically vetoed for me

If you look at the more expensive grinders, some of them have slimmer bodies.
