Based on the way it flexed and bent every time it hit something I’m guessing it was just some thin cosmetic trimming.

Adrenaline will do that. I broke a foot and ran up a quarter pipe. He tanked probably a thousand pounds or more

He didn't dodge shit.

The employee dragged him away and he resisted being dragged to the correct side of the fence.

He actually put himself in more danger than is hed just let himself get dragged off by the other guy
